ORIGINS AND ETYMOLOGY

Astro-English: in Astronese, the word psephation is based on the word psephology which is itself based on the Greek word psēphos relating to the acting of voting; with the addition of the suffix -ation to making the word into a noun, emerges the meaning “the act of selection.”
